Only to run the service you asked for: creating your account, sending OTPs, offering your booking to Technicians, taking payments, issuing invoices and credit notes, paying Technicians, meeting tax and legal obligations, handling support and grievances, and preventing fraud. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for behavioural advertising.
3. Who we share it with
- The Technician who accepts your booking sees your name, phone number, address and problem description. Technicians who have not accepted it see only the service, the city and the time slot.
- Service providers who process data for us: Razorpay (payments), our SMS provider (OTP messages), and our hosting provider. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
- Government and tax authorities when the law requires it, for example GST and income-tax records.
4. How long we keep it
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Account details | While your account is active, and 3 years after your last use |
| Invoices, payments, refunds, wallet records | 8 years, as required by GST and income-tax law |
| OTP codes | Minutes; they expire after 5 minutes |
5. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to erase it. We will erase what we can. Records that tax law requires us to keep (such as invoices) are retained until the legal period ends, and we will tell you exactly what was retained;
- withdraw your consent. This stops future processing that depends on consent; it does not undo past processing;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to;
- raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.
To use any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer (below). We respond within 7 days, and resolve grievances within 30 days.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypt sensitive Technician details such as PAN and bank account numbers, limit staff access to what their role needs, and keep a log of administrative changes.
7. Children
The Platform is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies: one to keep you signed in and one to remember your language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
